A three dimensional Blue Jay created using free-motion machine embroidery and used as the focal point of this wall quilt.

Bank Machine Blues

This wall quilt was made for the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery themed juried exhibition “Airborne”. The idea was borne from the thought that you go to the bank machine, take out $20 bills but they become airborne and just fly away. The airborne loons symbolize the bills that so magically disappear.
