was moved by my work and said "Out of all the pieces, I
cannot say why I chose the forest. As soon as I saw it, I could smell
the woods and hear the chirping of the birds as they flitted from tree
to tree. Maybe even a woodpecker knocking. The pine needles beneath my
feet were quiet as I walked into your painting. The earthiness making me
appreciate being alive watching the sun dapple through the dense canopy
above. When things move you that way Kathy, you try and reach out to
hold onto the feelings, however fleeting they may be. That's why your
creation stayed with me."
