Learn the basics of free motion embroidery to create landscapes. Complete a sampler as you learn to make grasses, leaves, flowers, weeds, trees, etc. For those who have some experience or who have taken the course before, you can work independently on your chosen project while receiving individual attention. The Oct. 23 Thread Painting class scheduled for the Andrew and Laura McCain Gallery in Florenceville- Bristol NB was postponed because of the covid 19 circuit breaker in that part of the district. It has been rescheduled to April 24, 2022.

AN-ExhibFredericton’s Fibre Arts Network ( FAN) is having an exhibition at the UNB Art Centre Nov.1- December 13, 2020. The Art Centre is open only on Sundays from 12-5 pm. Sunbury shores Arts and Nature Centre Saint Andrews NB has accepted my submission of New Brunswick through the Seasons in Paint, Fabric and Thread to be included in their Craft Year 2020 exhibition and sale to be held Oct. 2- Nov. 7, 2020 in Saint Andrews. My submission includes both thread paintings and wall quilts.

FAN ( Fibre arts Network) of which I am a member, will host its second Christmas Market at the Knights of Columbus building, 170 Regent St, Fredericton, NB .
I will be attending with thread paintings, large and small, original sun printed bookmarks, and cards. Other FAN members will have weaving, felting, rug hooking, clothing and more.
